is a relatively new restaurant on La Cienega.
The garden, interior and design is impressive.
Food is good too.
I recommend their Soba & Sumiyaki.

Spot this sign from La Cienega.

Garden.

Garden View from the Bar.

Teuchi Soba. (Handmade buckwheat noodles)
A must try.

Sake-gria. YUM.

Salad with Fried Tofu (yuba).

Beef Tataki.

Beef Carpaccio.
(I thought it was too salty)
Futomaki.
Fondant Chocolat.
Pumpkin Zenzai (Red Bean Soup) with Shiratama.
Pleasant surprise. Never had anything like it.

Thanks to the big storm in southern CA,

Granville Island

Graville Island is a great place to visit in Vancouver.
They have specialty food stores, lots of restaurants
and an indoors Farmer's Market.
The patio also has a great view of the harbor.

Inside Granville Island:

Stock Market (Fresh soups made from scratch)

Bridges Restaurant (Seafood)

Tony's Fish & Oyster Cafe (Great raw oysters)

Great Japanese Restraurants:

Izakaya Hapa (Small dishes. Contemporary.)

Kitanoya GUU (Out of the 4 locations, I like Robson)

Zakkushi (Yakitori)

Vancouver Food

I miss...

My favorite flavor, Cranberry Muesli.

Hand made noodles.
Try the dumplings too.

Favorite bakery, Terra Breads.

Blueberry & White Chocolate Foccacia (left) is SO good.

Favorite market, Caper's.

Stock up on their baked goods.

Best yogurt that they ONLY sell in Canada.

Nitobe Memorial Garden

A trip worth making, especially in the spring
when Sakura (cherry blossoms) trees are in full bloom.
